Damir has spent his whole life in a sporting environment.  From an early age, Damir showed potential as a basketballer, playing for the Melbourne Tigers junior representative team for 8 years at highest state level, was a Victoria ITCP scholarship representative in 2000 and now after years of assisting others attain their individual health and fitness goals, Damir is now focusing his attention towards natural bodybuilding.  Damirs interests lie in Fitness training and conditioning, functional training , sports specific training and bodybuilding.  Throughout so many years of training Damir displays the highest level of professionalism and it is evident the amount of knowledge he holds could only be acquired through a lifetime of experience in the industry.

Samantha has been dancing since the age of five, performing all around Australia as well as on the international stage.  She has entertained crowds ranging from fifty to fifty thousand at the rugby world cup as well as dancing for many Australian recording artists, companies and charities.  After finishing high school, Samantha studied at Edith Cowan University in Perth, where she successfully attained her Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, majoring in Performance studies.  During her final year of study she landed a job in a multidisciplinary orthopaedic rehabilitation clinic: Physical Solutions, where she worked as an exercise scientist.  Throughout this time she worked with rehab patients and sporting teams including the West Perth Falcons Football Club.  After adding Personal Training to her repertoire at "The Beach Lifestyle Club" with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle changes and nutrition, Samantha made the move down to Melbourne and we are proud to introduce her as a new member of the Transcend Team.  Samantha's areas of expertise include: Core strength and lower back rehabilitation, flexibility, weight loss, pre and post natal, exercise rehabilitation and massage.

Emlyn has been involved in the fitness and sporting environment for the last 25 years, coaching and competing in high grades of all sporting areas.  This has given him the leading edge in helping people achieve their ultimate personal, weight loss and fitness goals.  Over the last 4 years, Emlyn has found himself consistently developing and improving his techniques to suit the following areas of fitness.  Cross Fit, Boxing, Weight Loss and Body Transformation, Short and Long Distance running, Core Strength, Building Muscle Mass, Cycle / Spin, Outdoor Training & Bootcamps, Sports Specific raining, Elderly Adults and Kids Fitness.  In 2010 Emlyn competed in the Musashi Body Transformation Challenge, competing against 100's of people in his class in which he successfully took 1st prize in the country.  This particular competition went for three months and throughout this period, Emlyn dropped an incredible 15.8kgs, reducing his body fat to a low 7% by using his unique methods of training.  "100% of achieving your weight loss goal is to do with 85% of what you put into your mouth.  Train hard and eat right".  Emlyn will provide you with a professional and motivational experience in and out of the gym, assisting you every step of they way as you achieve your goals.

Bianca Stuurman

Bianca completed her exercise science degree at the end of 2007.  She is passionate about people, helping them reach their goals and also about having fun!  She completed her first triathlon in 2005 and also did the Melbourne half marathon in 2008, both of which helped teach her the importance of mental toughness.  She understands that every client is unique and consequently has individual needs and goals.  Her main focus is making sure that each and every one of her clients are enjoying themselves, working hard and continually progressing.  Biancas areas of expertise include weight loss, cardiovascular conditioning, building lean muscle and muscle toning.  Her sessions are challenging but rewarding and offer a high level of variety.  Bianca also works for GNC where she has attained a sound knowlege of nutrition and supplementation, which she believes go hand in hand with training, recovery and optimising results.

I get excited when i see clients take on the challenge of becoming fitter, healthier and happier.  Helping people achieve their fitness goals is the best thing about personal training.  Its amazing the progress and success that everyone is capable of achieving if they consistently do the right things for a healthier lifestyle.
My main training technique involves making exercise fun.  No one wants to be bored whilst training and if they are, then chances are they are not going to sustain their training regime.  I like to be upbeat, energetic and motivating and i will do anything to keep my clients smiling which is why you may often see me dancing in the gym!!!
